Jesus is the king that multiples what we have
Jesus is the king that multiples what we have

Jesus multiplied food for 5000 men + women and kids.

When Jesus does a miracle, most of the time, he takes what we have in our house and multiplies it.

A young boy was the only one who brought with him some food. I think he was normally working boy out on the fields the whole day.

He brought with him 5 breads and to fish. (=7)

Later, Jesus reminded the disippels about the food miracle, in Matthew 16: 9-11. But He was only speaking about the breads.

Jesus is our bread. Jesus fed 5000 + with 5 breads and 2 fish. 12 baskets were leftovers.

More than enought

When Jesus multiples things, He makes more than enough. Remember to take care of the leftover.

But if we think at the baskets, where did they come from. No one is bringing with them a big basket when they are not even bringing some small food with them for the family.

When Jesus makes a miracle, he makes all provisions.

The 12 baskets was also a creating miracle.

Why was it 12 baskets of leftovers?

I think it's a picture of the tree of life. It's bringing fruits 12 times a year.

  • 12 is also the number for complete.
  • 12 months.
  • 12 tribes.
  • 12 disippels.

Jesus feeding 4000 + people

The next time Jesus did a bread miracle, there were 4000 + people.

  • 7 breads
  • 7 big baskets leftover
  • 7 is the number for full / perfect
  • 7 days in weeks
  • Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden is 6000 years ago.
  • Soon, Jesus will rule in the kingdom of 1000 years
  • 7000 years are fully

The day of judgment and Grace is coming. And the new heaven and earth with the new Jerusalem.

We can also read about God's 7 spirits in front of the throne.

Look at the numbers

Remember to look at the numbers. Like 1, 3, 7, 12, 40, 70.....

40 is one season / generation.

We shall forgive 7 x 70

We shall forgive everything totaly / fully. Not 6 x 60.
